DIY Felt Pine Trees

DIY Felt Pine Trees

Between a few things from The Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart and some sticks in the yard I created these adorable Felt Pine Trees for some wintery home decor this season!

These tress are made from styrofoam cones…

That sat on my craft table for about 2 weeks while I thought about what to cover them with. I just couldn’t decide what I wanted to use to cover them! I went to craft stores and looked around several times and nothing jumped at me. Finally, the other day while in the craft section at my local Wal-Mart I saw all the felt and was like, THAT’S IT!

If you want to make these DIY Felt Pine Trees, you’ll need:

Styrofoam conesI used these styrofoam cones from The Dollar Tree and styrofoam circles (to make them different heights). You can obviously purchase cones from a store that offers different sizes but The Dollar Tree doesn’t (currently) so I had to improvise! Crafting Felt

In one of her books, hooks defined love according to Peck's definition in his 1978 book The Road Less Traveled: love is “the will to extend one's self for the purpose of nurturing one's own or another's spiritual growth” (as cited in hooks, 2000.
